Wonderful assemblage piece featuring a vintage keyhole with single evil eye peering out, surrounded by moss and dried mushrooms.

"It was 2022, I was retired and living in Michigan when a massive ice storm hit. Thick branches covered in ice caused power outages. A few days after, I went out to walk the dogs and noticed all the branches, tree bark, and berries that broke from the trees. I started collecting the "good ones," yes, some spoke to me more than others. I've always been creating, growing up with my grandmother, I am an avid antiquarian, and I was looking for something to do in retirement, so I started piecing all the parts of me together in old frames and naming my business after her. I made simple pieces at first, then started being more expressive, to now dabbling into collage with paper and trying to meet artist calls more specifically."

This photo symbolizes those cold days of my previous life as a Mayor Pro Tem of Trenton MI, giving the key of the city to Santa! Along with the tree from the ice storm.
