What We Offer

Gallery Artist Program

The Depot Arts District Gallery Artist Program offers artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in an active gallery environment while becoming part of the creative community at the Depot.

This program provides dedicated display space for artists in a professional gallery setting, along with regular public hours, monthly arts events, and ongoing promotion. Artists may rent a designated display space on a month-to-month basis, making it an accessible and flexible option for both emerging and established artists who want consistent exposure for their work.

Gallery Space Options

Multiple display spaces are available between $50 and $150 per month.

All sales are handled through the gallery. The Depot retains a 10% commission on artwork sales to support gallery marketing and sales operations. The gallery processes transactions and remits all applicable sales tax on behalf of the artist.

The program welcomes a wide range of media, including:
• Painting
• Drawing
• Photography
• Mixed Media
• Printmaking
• Sculpture

All work must be professionally presented and ready for display.

Guidelines

Artwork Display Guidelines:
Artwork must be wired and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers). All work is subject to gallery approval prior to installation to ensure quality presentation and consistency with the gallery environment.
Sculptural and 3D work must be ready to hang, able to be securely mounted to a pedestal, or designed to stand safely on its own. Artists are responsible for providing any pedestals required for their work.
Artists install their own work under gallery supervision.

To keep displays fresh and engaging for visitors, artists are required to:
• Rotate work every three months
• Replace artwork as pieces sell

Artist Participation:
Artists in the program are considered part of the Depot creative community. Participants may take part in Depot Walk events held on the first Saturday of each month, which bring visitors to the galleries and studios.

Artists also contribute to the operation of the gallery by completing 8 volunteer hours per month, assisting with gallery sitting during open hours.

Artwork sales are processed through the gallery. Artist payments are issued twice monthly, with a minimum payout of $25.
