Sherry Ross "Tributary" aka "The Beast"
I saw a piece I really liked and decided to try to create something in that style as a project for my students. It was mostly done and I just hated it. It sat by my desk in my classroom for years, mostly finished. The “real name” is “Tributary” but in my classroom, it was referred to as “The Beast” and my students would tease me about finishing it when I’d tell them to finish their pieces.
At this point in time, I don’t hate it…… I think I’ve mellowed over the last decade or so.
Photo of me, circa 2005-2008 rocking hard with a sticker tattoo given to me by the student who took this photo.
