Lisa Willman "Foal in Sepia"

$593.47

Lisa Willman grew up in Southern Indiana surrounded by cornfields and not much else.

She did have a horse, named Tut (like the Egyptian King). He was blind in one eye and had anxiety when it rained, but when he went on adventures with Lisa, he was a racehorse ready for the grand prize.

This painting is a subtractive watercolor painting technique that uses watercolor on top of acrylic.

Lisa’s least favorite part about being an artist is pricing her work…so she chooses seemingly random odd numbers and as an added benefit it drives her friend Sherry bananas! (Sherry Agrees with this statement!)

This lovely watercolor foal was created by Lisa in 1998.
