Artwork must be visual art (No music video's, performing arts, dance, poetry, or literature UNLESS it is about or includes visual art)

Except for Holidays, should the 5th fall on a Holiday, the winner will be announced the next business day

No, artist photos will be uploaded “as-is” with no changes.
LAA does reserve the right to “crop” photos used in contest teaser posts.

No, Contestants will be ineligible to win for the next 6 months after winning once.
The win will be passed to the next artist with the next highest total number of “likes”
Artists are encouraged to submit each month to increase exposure to their artwork.

Yes, Artists will have the opportunity to identify their art for sale, its price and contact methods.

No, Artists will deal with collectors in their own time/contact method. LAA will not be involved in the sale of the artwork advertised or posted as part of/during its contest promotions and/or periods.

Early art submissions may be used as a teaser for the upcoming month’s art.

Any artwork submitted after midnight on the first will be held for the following month’s contest.
Submission period will be from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month at 11:59 PM EST.

If any piece of art is in question the LAA committee will note and if excluded, the artist will be emailed and will provide an explanation upon request.

To remain in compliance with Facebook content rules, the following will apply to eliminating any art that could potentially place us in a compliance violation situation, or cause discomfort with the audience.

Yes, Once a request to remove a piece of art from a contest is received. LAA members will remove the art within 24 hours and the piece will be ineligible to win.

A commission from a sale will not be charged for any art submitted for the monthly Online Show Like the artist post contest.
