ACTION NEEDED NOW!

Two recent Florida Bills could impact the tourism industry which directly can impact the tourism contribution to the arts. Tourism helps fund many art and cultural events around Polk County, including art festivals, museum programs, community art projects and educational opportunities.

In the past year, tourism art and cultural grants have helped Lakeland Arts Association provide:

Bloomin’ Air,

Art Escapes retreats and

establishing an online presence for our local art shows.

Without these tourism grants, these programs would NOT exist.
